2023/2024 SLEIGH RIDES
Horse drawn sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge are a great activity and totally unique to Jackson as we are home to the largest refuge in the country. The elk number into the thousands and it’s a fun way to get up close and experience them. Sleigh ride last 45-60 minutes in length and run daily, beginning December 16, 2023 thru early April 6, 2024 (weather permitting), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every 30 minutes (Closed Christmas Day). Price is $40 per adult (ages 13 and up), $25 per child (ages 4-12), 3 and under are free. Private rides are available for up to 16 guests per sleigh for $675 + tax. Reservations are now being taken for the 2023/2024 season and we recommend making advance reservations as sleighs sell out early.
No food, drink or pets allowed on sleighs.
72 hours cancellation policy, 14-days for private tours. All tours subject to a JH Concierge 20% cancellation fee, regardless of when cancellation occurs.
DINNER SLEIGH RIDES
Dinner sleigh rides are also available* that include Chauncy’s world famous T-bone steak dinner (may substitute salmon with advance notice only). You will be impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable drivers, entertained by their tall tales and mesmerized by the scenery they guide you through. Hanging out with real cowboys is often the high point of a trip to Jackson Hole and the real west. *PLEASE NOTE, dinner sleigh rides are NOT ON THE ELK REFUGE. Located 14 miles south of town square Jackson, you would need your own all-wheel drive vehicle to get to this location or, we can set-up round-trip transportation for an additional cost. Price for a 1-hour sleigh ride and steak dinner is $150 per person. Reservations are required.
All tours have a 20% cancellation fee, regardless of when cancellation occurs and even in the event of a COVID shut down or illness. Cancellations made within 72 hours of tour, 14-days for private tours, will incur a 100% cancellation fee and no refund will be given.
